Okay, I am going to put this one in the "Win" column. Our AP Art History class traveled to the Museum of Fine Art Houston yesterday for what I call the "Brainiac World Tour - Part One". We were met by Christine Starkman, who is the Curator of the Asian Galleries of the MFAH. Ms. Starkman was exceedingly generous of her time and gave us a very informative tour of the Asian Galleries. In particular, she discussed the newly installed Cai Guo-Qiang work, Odyssey.
I was very proud of my students as I was able to allow them to move about the museum on their own without my direct supervision. Any teacher would love this group. I believe that the kids had a good time. I am happy.
